We make your software agent-ready: API, CLI & MCP
AI agents are already choosing which software to use on behalf of their owners. They pick what they can operate: products with an API, documentation and an MCP server. We build that layer on top of your current product, without a rewrite, so your software plays in that league before your competitors do.
In short: Agent-ready software is software that AI agents can actually use: read its data, create records and run actions with defined permissions, not just mention it in a chat answer. It takes three pieces on top of your current product: a documented API, a CLI and an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. EBROTECH builds that layer in weeks, without rewriting your software, for vendors and for companies running their own systems. We use this stack daily: our reference connector exposes 570 endpoints, and this very website publishes its own agent-readable catalogue.
Why does this matter now, not "when AI arrives"?
It is already happening in the big verticals: Dentrix, the leading US dental practice software, opened its MCP layer in 2026 so AI agents can verify insurance and manage recalls inside the product. Gartner expects 40% of enterprise applications to ship with task-specific agents in 2026. The question buyers will ask your software is no longer "does it have AI?" but "can my agent use it?".
There is a second effect almost nobody prices in: when a customer asks their AI "which management software do you recommend?", the AI favours what it can read and operate. Software with an API, an MCP server and clear documentation is citable and usable. Closed software is invisible. Being among the first agent-ready products in your vertical is an entire channel with zero competition.
The three pieces of the agent-ready layer
- 1 A documented REST API. The front door: every operation in your product (customers, bookings, invoices) accessible under an OpenAPI contract. If it does not exist, we build it on top of what you already have.
- 2 A CLI. What technical teams and automations use to drive your software from scripts, without opening the UI. Cheap to maintain and perfect for integrations.
- 3 An MCP server. The standard Claude, ChatGPT and agent platforms understand: your software exposed as tools the AI can use with permissions. We develop it custom.
The proof: we run this stack every day
We do not sell theory. Our reference connector exposes 570 endpoints of a CRM through API + CLI + MCP, and our own agents work through it daily. We have documented more than 200 European and Latin American management programs (many without a public API) in our integrations catalogue, and this website publishes its own agent-readable layer: /api/catalog.json · llms.txt.
How do we make your software agent-ready? The 3 steps
- 1
Surface audit: what an agent could touch today
We look at your software the way an AI agent would: what API it has (if any), what formats it exports, where the data lives. You get an honest map: what can be exposed now, what needs building, and what is not worth it.
- 2
The layer: API + CLI + MCP server
We build the documented REST API (or extend the one you have), the CLI for automations, and the MCP server that lets Claude, ChatGPT and other agents operate your software with permissions and an audit trail. Your product stays untouched: the layer sits on top.
- 3
Delivery: docs, registries and maintenance
You get the code and the documentation (OpenAPI plus an agent guide), we register the MCP server in the directories where agents look for tools, and if you want, we keep maintaining it so your product updates never silently break the layer.
Which one is you?
You build or sell software
API, MCP and e-invoicing compliance for your product, under your brand or white-label. So agents can recommend and use your software.
You need an MCP server
Custom MCP server development on top of your current API, or we build the API first if there is none.
You USE third-party software and want AI
You do not need your vendor to move: we put the AI layer on top of the system you already run, no migration.

Frequently asked questions about agent-ready software
What does 'agent-ready software' mean?
It means an AI agent can use the software without a human driving it: look up a customer, book an appointment, issue an invoice, always within defined permissions. Technically it is three pieces: a documented API, a CLI and an MCP server. Without them, your product is a black box to agents, and agents recommend and use what they can operate.
Our software has no API. Can it still become agent-ready?
Yes, and that is our favourite terrain. We build the API on top of what you already have (the database, official import/export formats, or the web backend) and put the MCP server on top. We work with desktop, on-premise and cloud products, and we have mapped more than 200 European and Latin American management programs, many without a public API.
How long does it take?
With access to the software (and ideally the vendor on board), a useful first version of API + MCP ships in weeks, not months. The real timeline depends on how many operations you want to expose and how your product stores data. The initial audit gives you a concrete date before you commit to anything.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the surface to expose and whether the API needs to be built from scratch. Tell us about your product through the form and you will get an honest range after the audit, no strings attached. If your software already has a good API and only the MCP server is missing, it costs considerably less, and we will tell you so.
Is this the same as making my business visible to AI (AEO)?
No. AEO makes AI engines find and cite your company. Agent-ready software makes agents able to use your product. They complement each other, but they are different jobs for different audiences: one is marketing infrastructure, the other is product infrastructure.
When do we NOT need this?
If nobody will connect agents to your software any time soon and you only need internal automations, an API or a CLI may be enough. If your product already has a solid public API and your team has bandwidth, you may only need the MCP server, or just our blueprint to build it yourselves. We will say so in the first call.
Can an AI agent use your software today?
Tell us what your software is and we will send back the honest map: what an agent can touch now, what is missing, and what it would cost to build. If it is not worth it yet, we will say so.
